Introductions: Yuriko Akeyama

Hello!

My name is Yuriko Akeyama, one of your LEGAL committee vice-chairs this year. I am currently in my second year at UC Berkeley, studying Political Science and Economics. In my free time, I enjoy going on walks, dancing, and (virtually) playing games with my friends. I remember participating in MUN as a delegate in high school (fun fact: I also went to BMUN several years ago), so I'm super excited to meet everyone and come back to BMUN as a chair!

Introduction: Nishitha

 Hi everyone!  My name is Nishitha, and I’ll be your Head Chair for LEGAL BMUN 69! I am currently a second year at Cal, majoring in History. I’ve been doing Model UN for about seven years now, and have chaired a few other Bay Area conferences. I also did debate in high school (repping public forum woohoo)! At Berkeley, I am involved on campus with my pre-law fraternity (Sigma Alpha Nu), as well as in research in the English department. In my free time I like to thrift, walk my dog, and roller skate. Feel free to comment any hobbies/cool talents you have!! I absolutely loved researching these topics along with my  wonderful Vice Chairs, and hope you guys will also love learning a little more about International relations during this conference!
